Photos, data coming from the ends of the Earth
A Web camera is sending images from the North Pole, showing an array of meteorological and oceanographic instruments researchers have set up on the ice.
The North Pole is roughly in the middle of the Arctic Ocean, which is almost covered by ice all year.
