Leonids to light up night sky like fireflies
Every year, the Leonid meteor shower rains down on Earth, producing a flurry of shooting stars. This year, astronomers predict the show will peak over North America around 5 a.m. ET/2 PT Sunday, producing hundreds, possibly thousands, of shooting stars per hour in the early morning sky.
